Last 14th and 15th of September, Sis.Ter participated with its own delegation at the FIWARE Global Summit, where we had the opportunity to take part to the Fundraising BootCamp organized by FundingBox for i4Trust project. It was an opportunity to meet the representatives of the other projects involved in the European i4Trust project and continue to work with our partners (Montem and Faubourg Numérique) on the development of our CO2-Mute project, which is currently under test in the french city of Béthune.

The FIWARE Global Summit in Gran Canaria was the eighth edition of the event organized by the FIWARE Foundation and marked the live return of the event after two and a half years. The event saw over 400 attendees from all over the world and over 150 speakers who gathered in the beautiful city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for two days of innovation, collaboration and valuable international networking opportunities.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to participate in over 300 presentations and more than 10 round tables, discovering the potential of FIWARE open source framework, stimulating use cases, trending topics in the field of technology and much more.

Our journey allowed us to meet, finally live, a large number of people within the FIWARE community with whom Sis.Ter has collaborated on several projects in recent years. It was a really good opportunity and we are happy to have seized and exploited it.

Now our CO2-Mute project, funded by the first i4Trust open call, is about to end, in fact by the end of October the experiment will be completed, but we are sure that thanks to the community we met in Gran Canaria and the partners we have collaborated with so far there are good opportunities for further development of the project in the future.
